The Channelview High School Class of ’64 will hold their 45-year reunion the weekend of October 24, 2009. Other Classes are invited!! For those who are local or those who come in from out of town early, we will meet at the Riverside Inn at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 23.   Riverside serves delicious hamburgers and refreshments, so feel free to come and order up some supper, or just come to visit.   Each person will be responsible for their own bill. On Saturday, October 24, we will begin meeting at the Baytown Boat Club in Highlands at 10 a.m. and will begin serving a barbecue lunch at 1 p.m. See further info regarding location below.   The basics of the lunch (barbecue, beans, potato salad, bread, pickles, onions, iced tea) have been donated by the class of ’64.   We only ask that you bring either a side dish of some sort or a dessert, or both,   and whatever you wish else you might want to drink.   We will have a silent auction and a 50-50 raffle to help defer some of our costs.   Our entertainment will be provided by Larry and Junior Sowell.   For those of you who have your classic cars, if the weather is permitting, bring them and we can have our own mini car show!
